FAQ
FAQ
-
What can you do with freeze dried products?Freeze dried foods are extremely versatile! You can enjoy them as a crunchy, nutritious snack straight from the package or rehydrate them by adding water to bring them back to there original texture. use it in smoothies, baking, cooking, or even as a light weight option for camping and travel. It's a great way to preserve food while keeping its flavour and nutrients intact.
-
How do I store freeze dried products? Do they need refrigeration? No, freeze dried products do not need to be refrigerated! Store them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture, in an airtight container or sealed packaging. Proper storage will help maintain their freshness and log shelf life. Once opened, reseal the package tightly to prevent moisture from affecting the texture.

What kind of wine do I use in the wine slushy? For the best flavour, we recommend using a dry wine- think Pino Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, or a dry Rosé for light flavours, or a Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot for richer blends. The drier the wine the better to balance out the sweetness -But hey, if you've got that mysterious homemade wine from Christmas sitting around-the one your friend swears is "the best batch yet" -this might be its time to shine! -Our wine slush mixes are just as delicious without the alcohol. For a fun refreshing twist, try using white cranberry juice (watered down a bit to balance the sweetness), non-alcoholic wine for a more traditional taste or even tonic water. However you choose to sip, its all about enjoying the flavour-no wine required!
